Art Classes
The Magical Atelier deeply affirms that every child is a unique artist, worthy of support, encouragement, and respect. We prioritize the process, rather than the product, and allow children to explore their creativity through the lens of their own interests, aesthetics, and distinctive sense of self-expression. Our classes are ideal for children (toddlers-12), and we also offer teen and family classes! Our space is also available for rentals for birthday art parties and for private events.
We offer classes in Sparkle Art, Watercolors, Easel Painting, Painting on Canvas, Flower Art, Drawing, Pastels, Sewing, Potion Making (a sensory play class with Watercolors + Glitter) + more!
During class we encourage your young artist to expand their imagination and follow their inspiration. In addition to the instructional focus of their specific class, we provide your child with the art supplies, materials, and support to artistically go wherever their creativity leads them - even if it is beyond the particular technique of that class. Our classes are perfect for toddlers, pre-school, and school-aged children.
Teens can enjoy our Teen Drawing Night. For adults (21+) we offer a fun and social Paint & Sip Night every other Saturday evening.

Sparkle Art
We guide your little artist to create a sparkly, dazzling work on paper. This class is full of fun and bright creative explorations designed to ignite the child’s imagination.
1 hour session | Fridays at 4:00pm
Potion Making
This is a sensory-play class where your little creative can really get magical. Your little one will have so much fun exploring with water, tempera paint, glitter, measuring cups and funnels. They can pour their potion in a container and take it home with them.

Painting on Canvas
Unlock the world of painting for your young artist with this introductory class for painting on canvas. Students can choose to paint either in Tempera (great for younger students), or Acrylic paints.
1 hour session | Tuesdays at 4:00pm
Watercolors
Allow your child to discover the joys of painting through the beautiful medium of watercolors. In this class students learn the basics of watercolor painting technique and are instructed to create an original painting.
1 hour session | Tuesdays at 5:30pm
Easel Painting
Standing at an easel is an enjoyable and rewarding way to work. Your young artist can learn the techniques and benefits of painting on an easel as they are guided to express themselves in tempera paint.
1 hour session | Wednesdays at 4:00pm
Sewing
Fun creative class where young artists get to learn the wonders of sewing & creating with fabric. Instruction is provided in basic sewing techniques.
1 hour session | Wednesdays at 5:30pm
Slime Making
This exciting sensory class is a fun and engaging experience. You little artist gets to create their own custom slime!
1 hour session | Thursdays at 4:00pm
Flower Art
Floral art explorations for every young mind. In this class we learn how to construct a bouquet. Students are introduced to the concepts of color, texture, and working with flowers.
1 hour session | Thursdays at 5:30pm
Drawing
The pencil is mighty. Unlock the world of drawing in this wonderful class. Students learn about drawing technique, shapes, shading, and composition.
1 hour session offered by request
Pastels
Young artists are instructed in using soft or oil pastels to create an original piece. In this class they will be introduced to proper pastel technique, light, shadow, and color theory.
1 hour session | Fridays at 5:30pm
Parties + Private Events
The studio is available for rental! Our inviting, colorful space is perfect for your child’s next art-filled birthday party. It also available for private and community events on location. We offer guided art activities, face painting & guided crafting for groups. We are also available to come to your event location.

Face Painting
Brighten your little one’s day with our face painting! We offer face painting for birthday parties & special events. *Covid Safety Protocol - Instructor wears a mask during the entire class, face painting occurs one child at a time. Parents can choose whether they prefer painting on half of the face, or full face (with the child's mask removed during painting process).

Teen Drawing Night
For teens we offer this engaging and social evening drawing class! Come learn the techniques and joys of drawing, shading, perspective, and composition. Class price includes materials and a snack. If your teen prefers to bring their own art materials they are more than welcome to do so.

Paint & Sip Night (Adults 21+)
For adults we offer this fun and social evening event! Enjoy wine, cheese & the relaxing process of painting in a fun and friendly environment. Includes wine, cheese, canvas and all needed painting supplies, a still life to paint from and light instruction to assist you in creating a lovely work of art.
