The Magical Atelier is a children’s art studio & boutique located in Santa Monica, California.
We offer creative art classes given in English and Spanish. The studio is a special place, inspired by the beauty and romance of the Eiffel Tour. Here, attention is given to detail and each child is embraced as a unique artist and where focus is placed on the process and not the product. Our classes are perfect for toddlers, pre-school and elementary school children, ages 2 to 12. We also offer Family Night, Teen Night, Community Night, a Paint & Sip class (Adult Wine & Painting Night), and several other classes and events.
Our philosophy is to support children in creating art as they like and in allowing them to express themselves through their own lens. We provide a place for children to holistically and freely explore creative art and their own sense of creativity. Particularly in this post-Covid world, we are proud to offer these healing and affirming creative classes. We exist to support and show respect to children and their work.
In the field of Early Childhood Development, we focus on the benefits of doing open-ended art, which many schools lack. Art helps children in all domains, social, emotional, cognitive, thinking, hand-eye coordination, large motor skills, and creative development... Parents can bring their children and see how crucial it is for their development to do this type of approach to art.
Additionally our space is available for party rentals, private and community events. We offer our group art activities for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, and more. Learn more.
